Elizabeth Bartlett World Poet

In conjunction with the Elizabeth Bartlett Symposium, the Archives and Special Collections are exhibiting works from the Elizabeth Bartlett Collection. 

The collection includes the complete works of poetry by Elizabeth Bartlett. All autographed, the works represented include anthologies, books, and literary magazines, as well as the International Literary Olympics collections of poetry from 1984, 1988, and 1992. Ms. Bartlett was founder of Literary Olympics, Incorporated, which brought together 132 poets with poems in fifty-five languages, and their English translations. This collection also includes unique sound recordings of Elizabeth Bartlett reading Herman Hesse’s Magister Ludi in 1970.
