Dr. Forrest Stevens (University of Louisville): Southern Africa from Above and Below -- A Multiscale Exploration of Land Cover and Land Use From Ground-, Aerial-, and Satellite-Collected Data

Join the Department of Geography and Geosciences at 3PM on Friday December 1st as our own Dr. Forrest Stevens shares the results of a collaborative research effort to understand land use and land cover in Southern Africa using image data from small unmanned aerial systems (drones) and satellite platforms, as well as local knowledge from survey data.
