https://louisville.campuslabs.com/engage/event/10421307This time of year, haunted houses, ghost walks, and scary movies are a dime a dozen. But what if you could experience something truly unique? Join us on Oct. 29, for a Creepy Campus Tour at the University of Louisville, where we delve into the eerie and enigmatic history of our beloved Belknap Campus. This tour is exclusively for students.
This is your exclusive invitation to uncover the secrets that lie beneath the surface of the Cards Campus. Discover tales of midnight meetings by secret societies, mysterious occurrences beneath our sidewalks, and the spectral guests said to roam our sorority houses. Each step of our journey will reveal the strange and unusual stories that have shaped the University of Louisville’s legacy.
Join us for an evening of chills, thrills, and a newfound appreciation for the haunted heritage of UofL. This is one Halloween event you won’t want to miss! Please note: this is an outside walking tour. The tour will begin promptly at 6 p.m., so please arrive to the Red Barn Plaza by 5:55 p.m. While the event is free, we ask that you RSVP on this event page so we can communicate with you case of any changes due to severe weather.
Your tour guide will be Katie Jo Glesing '24, an alumna of UofL's MBA program and Director of Development for the University of Louisville's College of Business, Founder of the nonprofit Boo812 Paranormal, and academic paranormal researcher of the last 13 years. She's featured on multiple TV series, such as New Blood and Family Spirits, and has been a guest speaker at Scarefest and Midwest BooFest. Katie Jo has led haunted tours of Jeffersonville, IN, since 2014, aided in creepy campus tours at Indiana University Southeast, and is excited to bring the creepy tours of campus to UofL alumni.
If you have access needs to help make this event more accessible to you, please reach out to SOAR's advisor, Amanda James, by Oct. 22. You can also direct any questions to Amanda.
