About this Event
Come join us every Sunday from 12:00 till 1:00 or so for composting. In our location off Bloom street, at the back of the property, we have a series of dumpsters that we use to compost food waste from local businesses, dorms, and other local sources. We can always use a hand turning compost and collecting food waste from around the local area! This is a great way to get hands-on experience in a process that is crucial to the success of our garden. The skills learned at our composting site are an excellent groundwork for conceptualizing urban agriculture, and can easily carry over to your other agricultural pursuits!
