Let’s Talk! The Commission on Diversity and Racial Equity (CODRE) wants to hear from the UofL Campus Community. CODRE is hosting Campus-wide Listening Sessions to provide opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to engage in discussion on topics relevant to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.

The Spring 2023 listening sessions will be held via TEAMS on February 23, March 23, and April 27.  Each session will focus on a discussion topic; however, these sessions are also intended to be opportunities for the campus community to raise any issues or topics.

Our next session is February 23, 12:00 to 1:30, Teams. “UofL International Experiences.” The university strives to create “a community that appreciates global interdependence” with goals of increasing the number of international students at all academic levels and expanding global research and learning opportunities. In this session, we will discuss the university’s internationalization efforts and how the university supports its international community. How is internationalization understood at UofL? How has the university experience been for our international students, faculty, and staff? What has the UofL community experienced around the world with university global learning efforts? All students and employees are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts.
