CODRE Campus-Wide Listening Session: “How LGBTQ friendly is our campus community?”
Let’s Talk!! The Commission on Diversity and Racial Equity (CODRE) wants to hear from the UofL Campus Community! CODRE is hosting Campus-wide Listening Sessions to provide opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to engage in discussion on topics relevant to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
The Fall 2022 listening sessions will be held via TEAMS on September 28, October 19, and November 16. Each session will focus on a discussion topic; however, these sessions are also intended to be opportunities for the campus community to raise any issues or topics.
Our next session is November 16, 12:00 to 1:30, Teams. “How LGBTQ friendly is our campus community?” The University of Louisville has been nationally recognized with 5 out of 5 stars on the Campus Pride Index in 2022. Is our campus/university living up to that reputation? Have we created an inclusive environment that recognizes and supports all LGBTQ identities? Is there still room for improvement?
In this listening session, we welcome discussion about how UofL supports LGBTQ students and employees. All students and employees are encouraged to attend and share their ideas.

We look forward to hearing your voices.
