Brown Cancer Center's 40th Anniversary Celebration

During UofL Health - Brown Cancer Center's 40th anniversary event, we will celebrate our founding and all that has been accomplished together as well as share the vision for our academic cancer care and research that will guide us to our 50th anniversary and beyond.

Our success has been created through deep partnerships with numerous organizations and individual supporters, across the region and country, as well as countless grateful patients and families whose lives have been profoundly touched by Brown Cancer Center. The Brown Cancer Center’s growth and accomplishments are truly a community success story, and this anniversary is a time to celebrate together.

The event will open with cocktails and hor d’oeuvres, and guests will be able to visit interactive displays with scientists, care providers, and community screening specialists to learn more about current efforts in research, care, and prevention. Each of these displays will include a pairing of appetizers and drinks – as we “pair” our community advocates and supporters with the efforts they make possible. Remarks will begin at 6 p.m., and include leadership and patients, and end with a champagne toast to the next 40 years.
