Branding is a powerful tool for differentiating UofL from its competitors and helps attract students, employees and donors who believe in who we are and what we stand for.

At UofL our Brand Evolution Initiative includes building a culture around our brand value, launching an external marketing campaign and rolling out a strategic communications framework to ensure we are speaking with one voice, as one Cardinal Family.

For this evolution to work, it requires integrating the brand into every aspect of our operation. We must live the brand so it is experienced at every touchpoint throughout UofL.

Faculty, staff and students are welcome to join this information session where we will:

  • Help university faculty, staff and students re-connect with our vision and mission and gain a better understanding of how to create emotional connections with our audiences and inspire them to take action.
  • Develop a shared understanding of the overall UofL brand elements, including messaging and visuals. This includes highlighting what makes the University of Louisville distinctive and how it connects to the daily work of each member of the faculty and staff across the university
  • Share information about UofL’s external brand campaign, which will launch in early 2022
