Join the Delphi Center and UofL Communications instructor, Elizabeth Kimball, for an engaging spring term book club dedicated to exploring the intersections of education and AI with Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning by Jose Antonio Bowen and C. Edward Watson.

This book club will meet virtually over Microsoft Teams on the following dates from 12-1 p.m., perfect for joining over your lunch break.

  • January 15th
  • January 29th
  • February 12th
  • February 26th

In our first three sessions, we’ll dive into distinct themes from the book, discussing Thinking with AI, Teaching with AI, and Learning with AI. Our final session will be a hands-on workshop, open to all educators at the university, where we’ll explore how AI can assist in designing a course syllabus and supporting materials.

Book club members will receive a complimentary copy of the book and are encouraged to attend all sessions and be prepared to actively engage in discussions.
