The University of Louisville School of Music will sponsor “A Jazzy Christmas” show Monday, December 4, 2017 at Derby Dinner Playhouse in Clarksville, IN.  The show will feature a big band of University of Louisville Jazz faculty and students directed by Prof. Jerry Tolson, the U of L Trombone Ensemble, faculty vocalists Chad Sloan, Emily Albrink Katz, and Katherine Donner as well as local jazz vocalist Karan Chavis.  Doors will open at 5:30 PM with dinner at 5:45 PM and the show beginning at 7:30 PM. Ticket prices for dinner and the show are $40.  A portion of the proceeds from the show will go to the U of L School of Music Scholarship Fund.  For reservations and ticket information, contact the Derby Dinner Playhouse Box Office 812-288-8281.
