A brain aneurysm is a bulge or balloon in a blood vessel of the brain. Brain
aneurysms can leak or rupture causing hemorrhagic stroke requiring immediate,
life-saving medical treatment. The care after a ruptured aneurysm is complex
and patients require ongoing management while on the road to recovery.
