Join UofL Department of Theatre Arts for their performances of the joys and anguishes of a middle school spelling bee in this delightful musical comedy performed by our very own UofL Theatre Arts grads and undergrads. The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally eccentric grown-ups. The show is filled with laughs, intensity of competition, and childhood issues presented through an whimsical and at times pandonimum filled lens. Who will win this year's bee?
