2024 Bullitt Lecture in Mathematics

After a few years' hiatus, the Bullitt Lecture, a free lecture for the general public is returning! This year's presenter is Ingrid Daubechies of Duke University, a celebrated and distinguished researcher in image processing and harmonic analysis who has spent the last several years working with a team of mathematicians and artists on a large art installation, currently on display at Northern Kentucky University. Dr. Daubechies will be presenting details of the art project's genesis, intent, and mathematical themes, and will be leading a tour at NKU the following afternoon.
