1st Annual Lead Ky: University of Louisville

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) at UofL, UofL Women's Center and Lead Kentucky presents the 1st Annual Lead Ky: University of Louisville which will be held on Thursday November 1, 2018 with doors opening at 4:30pm and the program beginning at 5pm in the Swain Student Activities Center Multipurpose Room. Registration required to attend. *Open to all college students & high school seniors

Students attending the will learn from Kentucky politicians and leaders, participate in breakout sessions including topics on grassroots organizing, running for office and being a leader overall. Speakers will provide concepts that students will think critically about and help to prepare our future leaders. Not only will students be enhancing and learning new concepts, but they will be able to learn skills that are needed to truly be successful.

Founded in 2013, Lead KY is the premier program for recruiting and empowering college women interested in all professions--equipping them with the skills, confidence, encouragement, and opportunity to become the Commonwealth’s next generation of leaders.
