University of Louisville Libraries and AMPED will be hosting BEATS Week from November 11 - 15.
BEATS is a week-long event series promoting equitable entrepreneurship for all. BEATS stands for Business, Equity, Arts, Technology, and Sciences, emphasizing the interdisciplinary nature of entrepreneurship. The goal is to ensure everyone has access to business development opportunities and resources, especially those from underrepresented populations in business ownership such as minority groups and college students.
The program is open to everyone on campus and in the local community who is interested in entrepreneurship. BEATS is put on in collaboration with the Yum! Center for Global Franchise Excellence, Forcht Center for Entrepreneurship, College of Business, Office of Research and Innovation, Office of Community Engagement, Cultural Center, Engage Lead Serve Board, University of Louisville Athletics, and the Speed Art Museum.
