The New President and the World: Challenges and Opportunities

The McConnell Center's "Promises & Perils of the American Presidency" public lecture series concludes with a talk from Peter Zeihan, a strategist on global affairs and geopolitics.

Zeihan, author of  “The Accidental Super Power: The Next Generation of American Preeminence and the Coming Global Disorder," argues that the U.S. will become great again - more by luck than by design - under a new presidential administration. He bases this prediction on “accidental” factors of the U.S. terrain, resources, demography, location and economics.

Free and open to the public; no RSVP required.
