Better Ingredients. Better Pizza. Better Business.

Papa John’s Pizza founder and CEO John Schnatter’s entrepreneurial journey started in the broom closet of his father’s Jeffersonville tavern more than three decades ago. Even then John believed that using fresh dough (never frozen) and superior ingredients would be key to a successful pizza business. That, and following the core values instilled in him by his great-grandfather, grandfather and father.  John credits great-grandfather Martin Schnatter, who left Germany at age 15 to pursue the American dream, with starting it all. “Papa John’s would not be here without my great grandfather’s courage to come to a society where free markets and private enterprise give hard working people the chance to create successful businesses.”

The other driving forces behind Papa John’s success include a strong work ethic, focusing on what you do best, always striving to be better, and treating everyone in the workplace with dignity and respect.  Don’t miss this opportunity to hear the Papa John’s story of hard work, determination and entrepreneurial success from the Papa himself.
